Step 1: Prepare Your Tools
Make sure you have all the necessary tools and protective equipment ready. Put on your safety glasses and rubber gloves.
Step 2: Do Not Flush
The first rule when dealing with a blocked toilet is not to flush. Flushing usually causes more problems than it solves, so it is best to try to remove the blockage first.
Step 3: Check For Obvious Blockages
Place your hand in the toilet bowl and check to see if anything has fallen in and got stuck in the toilet bend.
Step 4: Plunge The Toilet
