Types of Guttering
There are many different types of guttering, including round or half-round guttering, square guttering, box guttering, D guttering, and fascia guttering. Whilst they differ aesthetically, they all serve the same purpose – to protect your home from rainwater damage by draining excess water away from the roof.
The type of guttering you choose will depend mostly on your aesthetic preference. Round guttering is a popular choice, collecting large amounts of water, whilst box guttering or fascia guttering might be preferable for those who want a more discreet look. Gutter pipes are usually made from plastic or aluminium, as both materials are non-corrosive and highly durable.
