Skill Saws

Circular saws are also known as skill saws – and use a toothed or abrasive disc to cut cleanly through timber and other similar materials such as plywood and MDF. Blade sizes can vary from 165mm to 190mm, depending on the job at hand. Some electric circular saw models also have specialist blades available, so you can work on other surfaces such as brick or masonry.

Handheld Circular Saws

For maximum precision, choose a hand held circular saw or mini circular saw – these models are lightweight, easy to use and have metal guards for improved safety. When cutting wood and other materials that produce a lot of dust, use a skill saw with a dust extraction adapter.
